BOHO CO was started in 1999 by Mathias Schwender, an enterprising theology student with a juggling act and a yen for antique furniture and old buildings. With ten beds and no guests, Mathias went looking for potential guests at Prague’s main station. Four British guys came to stay and today Sir Toby’s is legendary amongst Prague’s hostels.

Over the years BOHO CO has grown into a dynamic upmarket accommodation provider in Prague and Olomouc (Czech Republic) and Accra (Ghana), offering both independent travelers and groups a wide selection of choices from shared hostel rooms to boutique hotel rooms and tastefully appointed apartments.

Our main goal is to “make a difference near and far” which is also why we are working on a sanitation project in Ghana, as well as making sure all of our guests are individually attended to and experience a sense of delight and community.
